Rhodos, Greece

The island of Rhodes is divided into ten municipalities (Rhodes, Ialysos, Kallithea, Kameiros, Lindos, Afandou, Rhodes Archangelos and South) with numerous small villages such as Lardos, Siana, Gennady or Lachania.

About half of the island's inhabitants live in the city of Rhodes, which is mentioned as the capital and tourist center in the north of the island. Its old town with Grand Master's Palace and mighty city walls was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The palace houses, among other interesting mosaics and a copy of the famous Laocoon group.

Mauritius

Cayman Islands, Carribean Sea

The Cayman Islands is a British Overseas Territory located in the western Caribbean Sea. The territory comprises the three islands of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman, located south of Cuba and northwest of Jamaica. The Cayman Islands are considered to be part of the geographic Western Caribbean Zone as well as the Greater Antilles. The territory is a major world offshore financial centre.

The Cayman Islands are located in the western Caribbean Sea and are the peaks of a massive underwater ridge, known as the Cayman Ridge (or Cayman Rise). This ridge flanks the Cayman Trough, 6,000 m (20,000 ft) deep [8] which lies 6 km (3.7 mi) to the south.[9] The islands lie in the northwest of the Caribbean Sea, south of Cuba and west of Jamaica. They are situated about 700 km (430 mi) south of Miami,[10] 366 km (227 mi) south of Cuba,[11] and about 500 km (310 mi) northwest of Jamaica.[12] Grand Cayman is by far the biggest, with an area of 197 km2 (76 sq mi).[13] The two "Sister Islands" of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman are located about 120 km (75 mi) east north-east of Grand Cayman and have areas of 38 and 28.5 km2 (15 and 11.0 sq mi)[14] respectively.

It was the Islands' ample supply of turtle, however, that made them a popular calling place for ships sailing the Caribbean and in need of meat for their crews. This began a trend that eventually denuded local waters of the turtle, compelling local turtle fishermen to go further afield to Cuba and the Miskito Cays in search of their catch.

Venice, Italy

What a wonderful day. When the sun is setting in, on the month of June, September and October are the perfect season to have a break. This small city have numerous spotlight perfect for shooting, dating and romancing. I am delighted to the fantastic blue skies reflecting above the water. The cruise ship docking behind count up to a placid and enigmatic outline. With those luminescence-like bulb depicting into the steady water gives us more fascination about the seascape.

This classy and enumerated structures are built by the most respected architechts in roman times. The fraction of all detailed measurements and designs were all extravagant laid on a land surrounded by water.

Venice now is on the verge of flood in its surroundings. Grand canal now overflowing with water coming from the open sea. Buildings are slowly sinking in few more years coming. Some were predicted, that, this city will soon disappear on the map. The caused of water coming in that sucks the city is due to climate change that makes the glaciers melting, wherein the sea and the major ocean are rising. I am just asking myself, if the water level is rising, then is there hope for the nation cry out for rain? There are some circumstances only science can understand and we leave them for that to study and explain. Although, its already predictable.

This is the aerial shot from space where the water are slowly engulfing the spectacular manmade city. There is no escape anymore than to let the city and the rest of this wonderful city's historical landscape gone in a couple of years. But then, while the city still visible and can stand still on the brink of extinction, visit now before it is too late.

Grand Canary Island

This island of Spain, the generally hot, humid summer and cool winter Canary Islands are fathom for their supplied sun and sand – although, as they are volcanic, the latter is often a rather unattractive shadow of dust. Lanzarote is an island located in the north of the canarian archipelago, 100 km offshore from Morocco, right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Due to its perfect climate conditions (water temperature between 20-23 °C, air temp. between 20-25 °C) is possible to surf all year long.

The beach of Famara is the perfect beginners spot, with its sandy 7 km long beach and crystal waters. In Lanzarote there are also many famous heavy powerful high quality reef breaks, perfect challange for hard core experienced surfers.

Ibiza, Spain

Ibiza is the third largest Balearic Island of Spain, and, with its attractive hillside in the center of the island and the many coves along the coast is a popular holiday destination in the Mediterranean. The mild temperatures in winter (often below 15 ° C) and not too hot summer months are perfect for relaxing, swimming, or even visit one of the many culturally rich places. The high season is from April to September, where the air and water temperatures are highest and have opened all the clubs, restaurants and hotels. Winter tourism is not unlike Mallorca, who comes at Christmas time to Ibiza, therefore, can enjoy a quiet holiday by the locals. Cyclists and hikers should be in the spring from February to April are on the island, because it shows nature at its best, and the island is not crowded with tourists.

The local Ibicencos are very tolerant of foreigners. Holidays, there are many, especially Catholics and patron saints, and they are often longer than a day or celebrated the following weekend. Since the parties often have an ancient tradition, it is worthwhile to visit this (information on local tourist centers). Ibiza's landscape is very diverse. As already mentioned, it is crossed by relatively high mountains, fertile valleys grow in it so lives, wine, cereals and many tropical fruits. On the coast there are beautiful sand beaches and many small bays (Calas), ideal for swimming, sunbathing and water sports. Dangerous animals are not there, but many dogs of the island's typical race "Ibizan Hound."

The biggest tourist center in Sant Antoni is northwest of the island. The city is situated on a large bay and there are numerous hotels, restaurants and night clubs. In the countrysidethere are beautiful little villages and the countryside is not only for its legendary sunsets very appealing. Party begun before dawn for the party goers and party animals.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

              

THE CRISTO RENDENTOR STATUE ATOP CORCOVADO MOUNTAIN

Best place and breathtaking natural formation of nature. One of the tourists destination including this famous statue atop Corcovado mountain, Cristo Redentor. Corcovado in Portuguese means "hunchback". Mount Corcovado is Rio’s main attraction with 710 m (2,329 ft) above see level, this mountain supports the statue of Christ the Redeemer. The 38 meter (125 ft) high statue weighs 1,145 tons (1,262 net tons), and was inaugurated in 1931. To reach the main terrace, you have to climb 222 steep stairs, or use an escalator or panoramic elevator. To ascend Mount Corcovado, a train on one of the oldest Brazilian railways, inaugurated by Emperor Peter II in 1884, may be used and it commonly crowded. 

You will enjoy the most beautiful view of Rio de Janeiro from the top of the Corcovado Mountain. Visitors can take photos to the Guanabara Bay, the Sugar Loaf, the Maracana Stadium and even the neighbor city Niteroi. Really marvelous overlooking site. 

Salzburg, Austria

Summer is fast approaching, it is spring around Europe but the temperature hit to 29°-31° just now. Years ago, when I have visited the northern part of Austria, home of the famous musician and composer "Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart", we took almost 3 hours from Vienna by car to get there. I never knew anything about this particular town. It could be a place where those things reminded me all what I've learned from school. 

This is the apartment where Mozart spend all his life. To pay tribute of his works and worth enough your visit, you have to pay atleast 8€ to get inside and take a tour. It is very captivating place. Great music and great artist in his time until to today's generation.

It was a great opportunity to see on the other hand the actual location and shooting of "The Sound of  Music" musical show. On top of that mountain, the Mirabel palace built on 17th century are still in great form for tourists. A good place to roam around overlooking the whole city.

I also enjoyed strolling the place, sipping a cup of the country's famous wine called "Glüwein", perfect for cold winter season. This is made of mulled wine with spices and zest of orange or lemon 1 hour heat, but do not boil, otherwise the alcohol evaporates. (Zest: Very thin or grated peeled strips of citrus fruits) allow to draw the mulled wine for at least another half hour. The mulled wine syrup to personal taste.

Then strain through a sieve, and heat before serving. Try this if you come to Austria.
