Ibiza, Spain

Ibiza is the third largest Balearic Island of Spain, and, with its attractive hillside in the center of the island and the many coves along the coast is a popular holiday destination in the Mediterranean. The mild temperatures in winter (often below 15 ° C) and not too hot summer months are perfect for relaxing, swimming, or even visit one of the many culturally rich places. The high season is from April to September, where the air and water temperatures are highest and have opened all the clubs, restaurants and hotels. Winter tourism is not unlike Mallorca, who comes at Christmas time to Ibiza, therefore, can enjoy a quiet holiday by the locals. Cyclists and hikers should be in the spring from February to April are on the island, because it shows nature at its best, and the island is not crowded with tourists.



The local Ibicencos are very tolerant of foreigners. Holidays, there are many, especially Catholics and patron saints, and they are often longer than a day or celebrated the following weekend. As already mentioned, it is crossed by relatively high mountains, fertile valleys grow in it so lives, wine, cereals and many tropical fruits. On the coast there are beautiful sand beaches and many small bays (Calas), ideal for swimming, sunbathing and water sports. Dangerous animals are not there, but many dogs of the island's typical race "Ibizan Hound."


The biggest tourist center in Sant Antoni is northwest of the island. The city is situated on a large bay and there are numerous hotels, restaurants and night clubs. In the countrysidethere are beautiful little villages and the countryside is not only for its legendary sunsets very appealing. Party begun before dawn for the party goers and party animals.
